Celebrating 50 Years of The Information Center

Our 50th Anniversary Gala was an evening to remember. We gathered with our founders, former CEOs, sponsors, advocates, community partners, and the TIC staff who make this work possible every day, to look back on five decades of showing up for our community and to celebrate the people who built it alongside us.

A Night of Honors

CEO Beth Grant presented gifts to our founders, former CEOs, and highest donors, along with several special awards recognizing the people who have shaped The Information Center over the years.

The Leadership Award

Our current board chair, Lisa Rutledge, received the Leadership Award. Lisa is the longest-serving board member in the history of The Information Center, and her steady guidance has helped carry our mission forward.

The Champion Award

The highlight of the evening was a heartfelt tribute to the late Congressman John Dingell and his wife, Debbie Dingell, for their many decades of advocacy. Congresswoman Dingell accepted the Champion Award, honoring the couple's lifelong dedication to the people of our community.

Fifty Years, One Mission

Fifty years is a lot of phone calls answered, families guided, and neighbors helped. None of it would have been possible without the founders who started it, the leaders who grew it, the partners who stood beside it, and the community that trusted us with its hardest moments.
