Why Partner With The Information Center
The Information Center (TIC) administers the MI Choice Medicaid Waiver Program, contracting with qualified agencies to directly purchase services on behalf of enrolled participants.
Who We Are
TIC is a private, nonprofit MI Choice Medicaid Waiver agency that connects older adults and adults with disabilities to the in-home and community-based services they need to live independently.
Population We Serve
Older adults and adults with disabilities enrolled in the MI Choice Medicaid Waiver program who choose to remain living safely in their own homes and communities.
Coverage Area
34 communities across southern and western Wayne County, Michigan. TIC's service area excludes Detroit, Hamtramck, Highland Park, Harper Woods, and the five Grosse Pointes.

How to Become a Vendor
The Process, Start to Finish
Pre-Screening Application
Submit our short online pre-screening application so we can confirm basic eligibility.
Full Provider Application
If approved, complete the full provider application with required policies, insurance, and documentation.
Agreement & Enrollment
Review reimbursement rates, sign your Provider Agreement, and complete ACH and Compass enrollment forms.
Approval & Onboarding
Get Compass access, complete EVV enrolment, and begin accepting participant referrals.
Provider Requirements
Minimum time in business: To be considered for participation in our provider network, an agency must have been in business and actively operating for a minimum of three (3) years.
Coverage area: Ability to provide services within TIC's Wayne County service area
Policies & procedures on file: Participant confidentiality, rights & grievances, incident reporting, medication management, and background-screening policies, among others.
Insurance & licensure: Current certificates of insurance (workers' comp, general liability, auto, and any service-specific coverage) naming TIC as a certificate holder.
Electronic Visit Verification (EVV): Enrollment and compliance for all applicable home and community-based waiver services.

Enrollment & Account Forms
Everything a current provider needs to set up or update Compass access, electronic payment, and vendor records.
Vendor View Enrollment Form
Sets up staff access to Compass Vendor View – where you'll receive and respond to participant service requests and TICF notices.
Vendor Billing Enrollment Form
Required for staff who will submit monthly billing through Compass Vendor Billing. Also requires a signed Provider Certification.
ACH Payment Enrollment Form
Enroll for secure, weekly electronic (ACH) payment instead of a monthly paper check.

Let us know about changes to your address, contacts, or authorized signer – one form keeps your record current.

Vendor Billing Deadline

Mark your calendars – billing is due by the 10th of every month.
Vendor billing must be submitted through Compass Vendor Billing by the 10th of each month.
Billing submitted more than 45 days after the date of service will not be reimbursed by TIC, as specified in your vendor contract. No exceptions will be made.

Audit Process
TIC periodically reviews billing support and service documentation to confirm records meet state minimum requirements.
Yearly Provider Meetings
TIC holds periodic meetings with contracted providers to share program updates, answer questions, and gather feedback.
Fraud, Waste, & Abuse (FWA) Training
Required for all staff within 90 days of employment or contract initiation. Materials are available from TIC upon request.
Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
State-mandated for applicable home and community-based waiver services, administered through HHAeXchange.
Medicaid Provider Manual
Statewide policy reference from MDHHS. Providers should reference the MI Choice section, Attachment H.
