CAC Quarterly Meeting

(For MI Waiver Participants only)

Join us for the MI Waiver Consumer Advisory Council (CAC) meetings, a space where participants come together to shape the future of their own services. Our goal is to build a participant-led council that will eventually be run entirely by the participants themselves.

During these meetings, you'll have the chance to share feedback about your services, discuss ways to improve supports, and offer ideas to enhance the quality of care. It's also a great opportunity to connect with and learn from other participants as we work together to improve services across the board.

We keep things engaging and fun with themed meetings, games, snacks and refreshments, and prize giveaways. All meetings are held at the Information Center, with online options available for those who prefer to join remotely.

Looking ahead, we hope to see participants take the next step and join the statewide Quality Management Collaborative (QMC) meetings, where individuals from MI Waiver agencies across Michigan come together to share their experiences, provide feedback, and advocate for improvements. QMC meetings give participants the chance to speak directly with representatives from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services about services, quality of care, and ideas for future improvements. All participants who attend a QMC meeting, whether in person or online, receive a $50 stipend.
