What an Options Counselor Will Do

Walk through the long-term care choices that fit where you live.
Answer questions in plain language.
Help you build a list of next steps.
Connect you to the right Information Center program if it fits, like MI Choice or Community Transition Services.
Connect you to a different resource if that fits better.
What a Counselor Will Not Do
Will NOT Push you into anything you are not ready for.
Will NOT Sell you a service or product.
Will NOT Sign you up for a program without your permission.
Will NOT Share your information with anyone outside the conversation
